Sizing Guide

Jewellery Sizing Guide

Finding the right fit shouldn’t feel complicated.

Whether you’re choosing a ring for yourself, buying a meaningful gift or simply double checking measurements, this guide should help make things nice and easy.

And if you’re still unsure? Just get in touch, I’m always happy to help.

Ring Sizing

Getting your ring size right matters (especially if it’s a gift or a treat-to-self moment you’re very excited about).

Here are a few simple ways to work out your ring size at home.

Option 1: Measure a Ring You Already Own

If you already have a ring that fits comfortably on the correct finger:

• Place the ring on a ruler

• Measure the inside diameter in millimetres

• Compare it with a ring size chart

Quick tip: finger sizes can vary between hands, so always measure the exact finger you’ll be wearing the ring on.

Option 2: Measure Your Finger

You can also measure your finger directly:

• Wrap a strip of paper or a soft tape measure around your finger

• Mark where it overlaps

• Measure the length in millimetres

• Compare with a sizing chart

A few important things:

• fingers naturally swell throughout the day

• warm weather can make fingers slightly larger

• cold weather can make them smaller

For the most accurate result, measure at room temperature later in the day.

Between Sizes?

If you’re between sizes, I’d usually recommend sizing up rather than down for comfort.

If you’re unsure, just ask before ordering, I’d much rather help you get it right first time.

Bracelet Sizing

Bracelets are all about personal preference.

Some people love a close fit.
Others prefer a looser, relaxed feel.

To measure:

• Wrap a soft measuring tape around your wrist where you’d normally wear a bracelet

• Add around 1–2cm depending on how snug or relaxed you like the fit

If you’re buying as a gift and guessing, average bracelet sizing usually works well but if in doubt, get in touch.

Necklace Length Guide

Necklace length changes the whole feel of a piece.

A shorter chain feels neat and everyday.
A longer length can feel more layered, relaxed or statement-making.

As a general guide:

16 inch
Sits close to the neckline (choker style on many people)

18 inch
The most popular everyday length

20 inch
Sits slightly lower for a relaxed feel

24 inch+
Great for layering or longer statement looks

Body shape and styling preferences vary, so these are always rough guides rather than strict rules.

Buying a Gift?

If you’re choosing jewellery as a gift and aren’t 100% sure about sizing, don’t panic.

Some options are naturally easier:

• adjustable bracelets

• necklaces (especially 18")

• open styles where appropriate

And if you’d like advice, I’m always happy to help you choose.
