Something new is happening at Wild One Jewellery. Metal Play has landed and honestly, I’ve been SO excited to bring this one to life.
This isn’t your usual jewellery-making workshop. There are no pre-designed pieces to copy and no two finished pieces need to look the same.
You get to design it yourself.

START WITH AN IDEA
We begin with a little creative time to sketch, doodle and plan your piece.
Maybe you already know exactly what you want to make. Maybe you’ve got a shape, symbol or texture in your head. Or maybe you have absolutely no idea yet — and that’s completely fine.
You’ll have the space to play around with ideas before choosing your favourite and turning it into something real.
You could create a charm, pendant or ring, experimenting with organic shapes, textures, impressions, cut-outs, layers and tiny details.
And if you fancy adding a little sparkle, you can incorporate lab-grown CZ or Nanogems into your design too.

SO, WHAT ACTUALLY IS METAL CLAY?
This is the really cool bit.
Fine silver metal clay is a soft, workable material made using 999 fine silver. It feels much more like working with clay than traditional metalworking, which means you can shape, texture and manipulate it before it goes through its transformation in the kiln.
You’ll be given 7g of fine silver clay to create your piece, with plenty of guidance from me throughout the workshop.
Once your design is finished, it’s time for the kiln.
And this is where the magic happens…
The clay burns away during firing, leaving behind your solid fine silver piece.
FROM CLAY TO JEWELLERY
After firing, we’ll bring your piece back to the table and get stuck into the finishing process.
We’ll sand, polish and refine your jewellery until that little piece you sketched earlier is transformed into something you can actually wear.
Something you imagined.
Something you made.
Something nobody else has.
And that’s exactly what I love about Metal Play.
There’s no “perfect” design.
There’s just your design.

THE ULTIMATE CREATIVE NIGHT OUT
I’m launching the very first Metal Play workshop at the gorgeous V Creative Space on Burton Road, Lincoln and I honestly couldn’t be more excited.
Think an evening away from the usual routine. A chance to get creative, make something completely unique, have a little fun and leave with your very own piece of Wild One jewellery.
It would make such a good girls’ night, date night, Christmas treat or early Christmas present — or just an excuse to do something completely different on a Friday night.
And because this is the first ever Metal Play, I’m offering an introductory launch price.
