THE EXPERIENCE

A cosy afternoon of creativity, making, homemade cake & silver, tucked away at the gorgeous family-run Fenland Hideaway.

Create + Cake is a little different from your usual jewellery workshop. This time, we’re bringing the magic of fine silver clay to the farm shop for a special festive afternoon, a chance to slow down, get your hands stuck into something creative and make something completely your own.

You’ll start with a piece of fine silver clay and an idea.

Sketch it. Shape it. Texture it. Make it yours.

Create your own ring or charm, adding textures, tiny details and your choice of lab-grown CZ or Nanogem where available.

Then, while your piece fires, settle in with Josie’s homemade cakes and a festive Cream Tea, soak up the cosy Christmas atmosphere and enjoy a little time to yourself. Fancy making it extra festive? You can swap your tea for a glass of Prosecco.

Once your piece has finished firing, we’ll come back together to sand, polish and finish it, transforming your little piece of clay into a one-of-a-kind piece of Wild One jewellery to take home.

Please note: CZs & Nanogems are subject to availability. If you have a particular colour or shape in mind, please add your preference to the notes at checkout and I’ll do my best to accommodate it.

A few things to know

This is a hands-on jewellery-making workshop and you’ll be working with specialist tools, including sharp blades and other small jewellery-making equipment.

Your pieces will also be fired in a kiln during the workshop, meaning there will be an area containing extremely hot metal and equipment. A designated hot area will be kept separate from the main working space, and full safety guidance will be given throughout.

Age Requirement 14+

Guests aged 14–17 are welcome, but must attend with a responsible adult aged 18+ who remains present and actively supervises them throughout the workshop. Strictly no alcohol will be served to anyone who appears to be under the age of 30 without proof of age.

Please be aware that this is a hands-on workshop involving sharp tools, hot metal and kiln firing. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that the young person they are supervising follows all safety instructions and behaves appropriately around the equipment and designated hot area.

All guests will be given clear safety guidance before and throughout the workshop.

Workshops are confirmed once your booking has been agreed and payment has been made. You will receive a confirmation email once your place is secured.

If you can no longer make it, you’re welcome to transfer your place to someone else — just let me know about any changes before the event.
